How To Be Successful In A MLM Business Without Ever Making A Sales Pitch
No one enjoys a sales pitch. They can detect a pitch coming at them from a mile away. And typically they run away as fast as they can. Going straight to a pitch is the incorrect way to create a connection with someone. It shows you have little regard for their space and time.
A better approach is the un-sales pitch. It involves educating the consumer, providing information and creating buzz. When you first start talking to someone it should be your goal to get to know the person, ask them about their business or what their goals are of starting a business, get them engaged and talking to learn what’s important to them. You intend to build a relationship that will bring more referrals, instead of one quick sale or turning them off so they leave feeling pressured.
People tend to be quick to walk away from a home networking business. Approaching people with a hard sale either through warm or cold leads, can actually lead to no sign ups. The point of network marketing is to brand yourself as a lead and to develop strong relationships with people. The more information you can provide on your site that is useful to them without trying to get them to join, the more likely they will visit your site more often and eventually join of their own accord.
“How To” articles are the best content to add to your site. People that are in home businesses are always looking for help to grow their business and “how to” articles are a great way to get them to come back to your website on a repeat basis. Providing these kinds of articles can build a huge fan base of people who trust and respect what you have to say and are more likely to buy products you recommend or join your business. Allowing comments to articles is a way to get people talking. It’s also very important to respond to each and every comment to start building the relationship with that person.
You are attempting to educate them about how network marketing can help them in the same way it did you. When you first starting talking to someone they are going to have a lot of questions about how all of this will benefit them and how much money they can make. There are many questions and concerns people are going to have and it’s your job to answer them without adding any pressure. Other concerns may be that they believe they are not good at marketing. They do not think they have enough friends or contacts. If you provide articles or other content that will show people how to build and advertise their business you will create a loyal follower.
Network marketing can be a lucrative business and the more followers you have on your site, the more likely you can build your down line with actual members who are making money for you.
